What Does IT Support Actually Cost in Perth?
Most IT companies make you call for a quote before they'll mention a number. Here's ours, up front — and exactly what it covers.
The rate, in plain terms
$180/hr ex GST
One-hour minimum, then billed in 30-minute increments — you only pay for the time actually used.
On-site across metro Perth
Joondalup to Bibra Lake and across to the Hills — no travel charge inside the metro area. A small travel fee may apply beyond it.
Pay-as-you-go
No minimum term, no exit fee, and no pressure to sign anything just to get help when something breaks.
Remote or on-site
Weekday or weekend, remote session or site visit — one hourly rate, and no surprise loadings on the invoice.
What an Hour Actually Covers
Most single-issue problems are resolved inside the first hour — these are the jobs we do every week.
Typically within the first hour
- Email problems — not sending, not syncing, or set up on a new device
- A slow or misbehaving computer diagnosed and cleaned up
- Printer, Wi-Fi and network drama sorted
- A suspicious email or account scare checked and secured
Bigger jobs, quoted before we start
- Microsoft 365 setup, migration or security hardening
- New computers supplied, set up and data moved across
- Office network builds, servers and backup systems
- You get a written estimate first — the hourly rate never changes mid-job
Pay-As-You-Go or Managed — Which Costs Less?
It depends on how often you need us. Here's the honest breakdown.
$180/hr ex GST
Best when things mostly run fine and you need an expert occasionally. One-hour minimum, 30-minute increments after that, invoice after the work is done.
If you only call us a few times a year, this is genuinely your cheapest option — and we'll tell you so.
Custom fixed monthly fee
Best when downtime costs you real money. A fixed monthly fee sized to your business, plus an optional security baseline at $29.95 per endpoint per month — still with no lock-in contract.
We scope it against your actual usage first: if ad-hoc alone is cheaper for you, we say so.
Why we publish our rate
- Nobody enjoys ringing three IT companies just to find out what an hour costs — publishing the rate lets you decide whether we're a fit before you pick up the phone.
- It keeps us honest: the number on this page is the number on your invoice. No hidden fees, no surprise loadings, no "it depends".
Pricing Questions, Answered
The things people usually want to know before they call.
Is there a call-out fee?
No call-out fee for on-site visits within metro Perth — Joondalup in the north to Bibra Lake in the south, and across to the Hills. A small travel fee may apply beyond those boundaries. Remote support has no travel component at all.
Is GST included?
Rates are quoted ex GST, as is standard for business services — GST is itemised on your tax invoice.
What's the minimum charge?
One hour. After the first hour, time is billed in 30-minute increments, so a 90-minute job costs exactly 1.5 hours — not 2.
Is remote support cheaper than on-site?
Same rate either way — $180/hr ex GST. Remote is often the faster option for single-issue problems: no travel, connected in minutes, and most issues resolved in one session.

Describe the problem and we'll tell you — honestly — whether it's an hour's work, a quoted project, or not worth spending money on at all.
